Junie - August 20, First workout!

Just like THAT she now stands cross tied!

Truth be told she was worked in the round pen first, coming to be caught, and moving away (driving forward) ground work. She was happy to not have to move her feet by the time she was in cross ties; Still remained a lite workout. Brushed and all 4 feet picked. Also the cross ties were modified to give as she pulled, this was all a quick cure - of course to continue until she stands quietly.

Up to this work out from Aug 16-20th her life or interactions was at least 3x daily family walking out greeting her, petting her, brushing her in the stall, cleaning around her in the stall, daily chores. She had really started to settle in preferring the people interaction by about day 3.

Video is of her during the first few days - she was very worried about not being with the other two mares we have.

Below is her first turn out in the 'big' pasture. She is still not kept with the other two mares, however she can see them at all times. Prior to this during this first week she had been turned out on the little pasture several times.
